Templates!

The template tool on google docs is a really neat tool that you can use to pick out a template that you can put on your blogger account or you can just keep it on your google account. There are thousands of different templates that you can chose from to find that one you want. You can also do a search for the kind of template you want to have. The template tool is really neat tool and I would use it to get a calendar if I never needed one.

Firefox Add-ons!

Firefox add-ons is a really cool tool that you can use to make it easier to visit a specific site you want to go to.  I added the picnik add on to my toolbar because I love going to this website and editing my pictures for fun.  There are thousands of different add ons that you can add to your firefox web browser.  You can also go through the pages and click either dislike or like and I believe that it goes directly to your facebook page.  The picture above is all of the add-ons that I have added on my browser.  I hope you have as much fun as we did searching and adding firefox add-ons.

Google Docs!

This is an awesome tool that we can use to put a word document on so we can work on it at home even if we don't have Microsoft Word on our computers at home.  It is really cool that you can put a word document, an excel document, and a pages document.  Another cool thing about google docs is that you can have different people work on one document at the same time even if you are all the way across the school or town!  I would advice using google docs for anyone.

Tiny Chat & Favicon!

Tiny chat is a really cool tool that you can use to chat, video, and talk with.  We used this tool to explore what it is like to use a webcam and microphone to talk with other people.  You do not have to make an account to use this tool all you have to do is visit tinychat.com.  Favicon is also a really neat tool that you can use to make a personalized picture to put next to your url.  Facebook is an example of a website that was a favicon and now so does my own blog.  It is a picture of my mom, my dad, and I!  You can to go many different websites to make a favicon.  We visited favicon.cc if you would like to make your own just go to that website.

Domain!

A domain is when a person can get a new extension and website for there own website they are instead of having one super long URL.  Godaddy.com is a website you can use to buy a domain for your website.  First you have to check and make sure that your website and extension is available for you to make.  If I wanted to have emiliesblog.com instead of emiliesocialmedia.blogspot.com, godaddy.com is a good website that you could go to to purchase a domain.  You can also get a domain through Blogger.
